Reece Lewis

I am a 3rd year Conservation of Cultural Heritage student with a keen interest in digital heritage and how it can benefit all aspects of conservation. I first heard about Conservation after doing ancient history at both secondary school and college and have had plenty of experience with archaeological objects during my time at the university, as well as a wide variety of other materials including ceramics, leather and paper.

I undertook a placement at Mrs Smith’s Cottage where I learned a lot about realistically managing a small collection and the impact a heritage site can have on a community. I am looking to progress my education through a master’s course, either in digital heritage or care of collections.
