I am a third year student of Conservation of Cultural Heritage with particular interests in textiles and plastics. Conservation combines my love for museums and galleries with my interest in handiwork and history.
My prior experience includes a year-long placement at the Institut fuer Historische Textilien in my hometown of Cologne, Germany where I worked on ecclesiastical ceremonial dress. I have also worked on local parchment maps and deeds for the Sir Joseph Banks Society in Horncastle. My hope is to find work within the field of textile conservation and perhaps to open my own studio some day.
