Eleanor Holdsworth

I am a third year Conservation of Cultural Heritage student at the University of Lincoln, with an interest in paper and metal objects. I’ve always loved history since I was little and I originally was going to do a history degree. When applying to do a history degree at Lincoln, I saw conservation recommended as a similar degree and it appealed to me a lot more than just history, as this way I actually get to touch the historical artefacts and work with them more closely. After graduating I hope to become a conservator in a museum or stately home, and use the skills I have learned during my degree to help preserve the past for future generations.
